POD

Songs about weed: most of them are stupid, some of them are stupid but funny and some of them are stupid but great but they all are stupid! If you wanna get high, get fucking high, don't sing about it, don't talk about it and certainly don't write fucking books about it 'cause it's all boooorrrrriiiiinnnnngggg compared to being really fucking high!
Here are some songs to prove my point:
- Kuno & The Marihuana Brass - Marihuana Mantra: an exceptionally stupid song but also hilarious, a bunch of german dudes who never smoked pot but tried to ripoff the hippies by recording this funky easylistening tune about weed, groovy! "Der Joint brennt! Oeh!"(excuse me for my bad german spelling but it's all the patats fault for kicking me out of his class back in the day, that fucking asshole, I hope he's dead now)
- Strawberry Path - Mary Jane on my mind: the best proof of what drugs can do to very talented noisemakers, between a bunch of primitive 70's hardrocktrash this cheesy track suddenly shows up. This made me laugh out loud in the recordstore! Guess their nationality.
- D'Angelo - Brown sugar: I think this is actually a great fucking tune. It makes me feel like I'm smoking a big fat hashjoint while I'm fucking with her on top (it's a Killawhale sextip! Try it if you haven't yet!). Ignore the stupid lyrics though.
- Ween - Puffy cloud: the ultimate weedsong, it really sounds like you're lying on the floor in a puddle of bongwater 'cause the bong fell over and you don't give a shit 'cause you're too fucked up to use that bong again anyway.

MOTORPSYCHO MADNESS

Motorpsycho is returning and a lot of you sissies are coming in their panties because of it and I wonder why (well, I know why, that's what you get when you liked only 3 bands for the last 10 years). I want to hear their new record first 'cause I don't now if they're still going to be any good. Here's why:
- their drummer left, not a big problem with most bands (hell, most bands could use a better drummer) but this guy wrote songs and played a bunch of other instruments and was a really good drummer of course, too bad he now plays banjo in some boring folkband
- their last album wasn't as good as their earlier stuff, I can't remember one song of it at the moment, not a good sign
- that last Tussler album was a boring piece of crap (but it's real music I've been told, if that's real music I'd much rather listen to the fake kind)
- I don't think I put on a Motorpsycho-record in 2005 and if I did it was probably 'Timothy's monster' or a couple of songs of that red one (Big Surprise or that instrumental track) (don't say you did listen to a lot of Motorpsycho 'cause again that probably means you only like 3 bands)
- I'm a big snob who tends to hate stuff everybody else likes
- there's been a lot of other cool psychedelic stuff since the last Motorpsycho-record, check out Dungen for a great example
- I'm not in my early twenties anymore (not that that's a good excuse, Jokke!)
- I don't smoke pot anymore (although I listen to more drugmusic now than when I was a fulltime pothead!)
- maybe I'm stupider than you but probably I'm a lot smarter!
